One week after Houston, Wild Pony Hat Bar brings the custom hat experience home. Texas Trophy Hunters hits Freeman Coliseum August 7 through 9, 2026, and we are set up right in the middle of the action. San Antonio is our city, so this one is personal — same hats, same stylists, no road trip required.

The Home Crowd Gets the Full Build

  • Choose your hat base — felt, straw, wide-brim, structured, the full collection
  • Pick your details — feathers, leather bands, branding stamps, turquoise, distressing
  • Sit with a stylist — they walk you through every option and build it in front of you
  • Leave wearing your hat — about 20 to 30 minutes from start to finish

We have had everyone from solo bow hunters to whole families come through the booth. Pick a base, sit down, and walk out with a hat that is actually yours.

Texas Trophy Hunters pulls in hunters, ranchers, and outdoor folks from across South Texas — people who know their gear. Bringing a Crew?

Hunting clubs, families, or the whole truck — custom hats are a standout for groups who want matching-but-personal gear. We will set your group up at the booth, or book a private session any time at La Cantera. See group and event options and we will build a plan around your headcount.

San Antonio Is Home

This is our backyard. Wild Pony is open year-round at La Cantera inside the Signia by Hilton, so if you miss us on the show floor, come build a hat with us any week of the year.
